Olive Tomato Cheese
This is a type of Gouda to which tomato, olives, basil and garlic are added. The combination gives the cheese a refined Mediterranean flavour.
Pasteurised cow’s milk, salt, starter, tomato, olives, basil, garlic, rennet, preservative (E251), colour (E160b).
Fat in dry matter : min. 48%
Fat absolut : ca. 30%
In the Netherlands, labelling usually indicates the fat content in the dry matter: this remains the same as the cheese ages, while the absolute fat content increases because riper cheese contains less moisture.
